As an administrator in you organization you have options to setup and customize the central homepage for Engrafo. this is great way to create a personalized overview and easy to setup in Engrafo.

To start tailoring the homepage head over to System → Setup Homepage. From here you have two options: you can either customize the front page using simple elements including a search bar and custom links for quick navigation. Or you can setup a more customizable homepage with more options, along side built-in links to various key parts of the Engrafo solution.

To set up to the homepage with search head to “Homepage with Search”. Here you will see options to add a headline, a caption, a logo and external links, which will show at the bottom of the page, along side favorited items and you latest edits across the solution. This, as well as many other items when it comes to customizing the homepage is done with a rich-text editor so you can play around with personalizing them to your needs.

Engrafo prioritizes “Homepage with Search” meaning anything made here will overwrite the “Customizable Homepage”. To setup the Customizable Homepage, make sure to check off “Inactive” under Homepage with Search or delete anything made here.

The Customizable Homepage is comprised of a main header box and three sub boxes. In the header you have options to add a title, sub text, an image and a URL to an already built-in button labeled “Read More”. Of course you can also add more links to external documentation using the rich-text editor

In the three sub boxes you can also add a header and content. However, the headers already have built-in links that you can use to navigate through key elements of Engrafo:

  • The first box links to the Data Catalog and you Data Documentation (Read more about the Data Catalog here:Data Catalog)

  • The second box links the the Data Usage feature where you can manage your Data Usage Documentations and create Data Lineage (Read more about Data Usage here: Data Usage)

  • The third box links to the Engrafo Portal (Read more here: Portal)

Finally, you have an option to edit the contact menu. The contact page is separate and can be accessed from anywhere using the top bar navigation. The content of this page is very simple, including just a content-box for you to type your contact information or what ever else you might desire.
